Day one of the rest of my life

Hello:  I don't know how you got here of if you will stay or come back.  Let's just say I hope you like it here and will stay for a while and come back from time to time.  This is day one of this blog and the beginning of something I hope will last for a long time and bring joy to others.

I want to begin by dedicating this new beginning to a very dear friend.  She always called me her "brother she never had".  Just this last week her life ended.  I will not go into any details on the manner of her departure.  I will only say that I am deeply saddened and trying my best to stay composed.  Anne was always trying to lift ME up and help me to cope with life's trials.  I never expected this.  So it is with a heavy heart that I say farewell and "see you later" (as I know I will).  May the sun always shine on you and may you find your place in God's house for the rest of time.

This blog is my attempt to do as she always said I should and showcase some of my photographic work in this amazing place we 'Coloradans' call Home.  I am a native and I am always set back by the beauty of God's creations and the depth of our human frailty and at the same time perseverance.

My mother taught me at a very early age that I can be and do anything I set my mind to.  Several important people in my life have tried to enforce that idea and for some reason I have either been afraid of success or resistant to it I guess becasue I have not made good on their predictions.  UNTIL NOW!!!  I am going to utilize my talent with the camera and my ability to 'wordsmith' to make some sort of difference and perhaps a living at the same time.

In this blog you will see images that I have taken over time.  Some old, some new.  If you really like one go to my web site at www.atsa-photpgraphy.com and look at what I offer.  Prints are available. Please note:  The web site just like this Blog are works in progress and will be evolving as time progresses.

These first two are just a couple of my favorite images.  One a total accident of light but what a great illusion and the other the product of hours of slow quiet patience to capture the baby marmot who is/was about 3 inches long.

Please tell me your thoughts.

This is purely a test to see IF a comment can be posted to this page. I am the author of the blog and several people have told me that they have been unable to post anything. SO I clicked on comments at the bottom of a page. The full page version opened and I typed this in. I will now select anonymous as my sign in and see what happens.
